    UPDATE (Dec 28, 2022): We are pleased to announce that all iconography has been covered. Glory to God! Glory be to God! We are near completing the paintings. It has long been in our hearts and minds to have a fully painted church, and with God’s grace, we are witnessing this come true before our very eyes. Serval big icon projects are still available for being sponsored. We need your help to have this completed by Christmas; that we may celebrate our rebirth alongside the church’s rebirth into its glorious display of beauty.     New Years and the Feast of St Basil

    After a beautiful vigil, the faithful celebrated the coming of the civil new year with food, fellowship and joyous celebration. The beginning of 2022 was spent giving worship to God in Divine Liturgy for the feasts of the Circumcision of the Lord and St Basil the great followed by the annual blessing and distribution of the Vasilopita.     The Growth

    When St. Vladimir sent emissaries to all the known regions of the earth to report about the world’s religions, he was persuaded by those that visited the Orthodox Church of the Hagia Sophia in the city of Constantinople for they reported that they did not know whether they were in heaven or on earth.     The Beginnings

    With a quickly growing congregation in downtown Salt Lake City and the need for Orthodoxy to spread to the countryside of Utah, God provided land through pious donors to build a beautiful temple to the Glory of God.
